1 : GREAT NORTHERN VANGAURD WHISKEY 80 Proof $ 38.99
Vanguard is the young expression of our whiskey distilled from wheated bourbon mash and aged in small new charred American oak barrels. Even though it is technically bourbon, the mash bill has only 55% corn rather than 70% or more in a typical bourbon. We add a high proportion of wheat, rye and Malted barley to skew the flavor more toward a smooth Canadian whiskey. Aged for about 8 months in only 10 gallon barrels, the resulting spirit has a smooth character typically found in much older whiskeys and flavor profile that is somewhere between true Kentucky bourbon and a Canadian Whiskey. Prominent caramel and vanilla notes mellow to a long finish of rye spice and leather. This is what we refer to as a true Wisconsin Whiskey. 100% produced and Bottled in Plover, Wi.
2 : 1792 RIDGEMONT RESERVE “SMALL BATCH” 93.7 proof $ 24.99
The Toast of Kentucky, 1792 Ridgemont Reserve is a distinctively smooth, handcrafted small-batch bourbon, dry scents of leather and black pepper; aeration encourages sweeter, woodier aromas to emerge. The palate entry is sap- and pine-like and moderately sweet; at midpalate a flash of cocoa appears, then recedes for additions of sweet oak, vanilla, palm oil and sap. Finishes lean, moderately sweet, grainy/corny and very appealing. Best Buy.
3 : FOUR ROSES “SMALL BATCH” 90 Proof $ 33.99

4: OLD FORESTER “SIGNATURE” 100 proof Bottled in Bond $ 26.99
Created in 1870, Old Forester is the only bourbon continuously distilled and marketed by the founding family before, during and after Prohibition. Old Forester bourbon introduced by George Garvin Brown on Whiskey Row at 322 W. Main St. America’s First Bottled Bourbon® was the first bourbon to be sold in sealed glass bottles to ensure quality, made according to Brown’s 1870 Original Batch process of batching barrels from three distilleries to create a consistent flavor profile. Strong, sweet coffee laced with chocolate, creamy butterscotch and a hint of licorice. Ripe apple and other sweet fruit, bakery spices like clove and nutmeg. Toasted oak. Sweet and light, with hints of oak and apple that linger
5 : WILD TURKEY 101 101 Proof $ 25.99
An Icon in the Bourbon trade since before prohibition. The Flagship of the distillery this “high-rye” Bourbon is distilled at a very low proof in order to embody more barrel flavors during aging process. It comes out of the barrel around 109 proof necessitating only slight dilution and so less water will be added to achieve the bottling proof of 101. A blend of 6, 7, and 8-year-old Bourbons. A great bourbon to stand up to cocktails, and a favorite of bartenders. A strong nose of toffee, caramel spice and vanilla with additional layers of toasted oak and butterscotch. On the palate sweet notes of vanilla, maple and cinnamon are likely contrasted with oakiness. Finishing with spice, pepper, and oak dominate
6 : RUSSELL’S RESERVE “SMALL BATCH “ 10 YEAR OLD 90 Proof $ 32.99
I felt it fitting to feature one of my favorites. The Russell’s 10-year small batch which comes to us from the Father-Son Master distillers team of Jimmy and Eddie Russell at Wild Turkey. With over 90 years’ experience between them. Jimmy Russel is the world’s longest tenured Master-Distiller in the Business with over 65 years’ experience himself. they hand select barrels at least 10 years of aging. It has that amazing toffee and vanilla and spice that symbolizes the classic bourbon flavor profile and you just gotta tell yourself yep “That’s it.”
7 : WOODFORD RESERVE “SMALL BATCH” BOURBON 90.4 PROOF $ 39.99
If someone were to come to my house and ask “what does Bourbon taste like? “This is the glass I would pour them. It is a bourbon of exceptional richness, depth, and character with a smooth, well-rounded finish. Nose: Heavy with rich dried fruit, hints of mint and oranges covered with a dusting of cocoa. Faint vanilla and tobacco spice. Taste: Rich, chewy, rounded and smooth, with complex citrus, cinnamon and cocoa. Toffee, caramel, chocolate and spice notes abound. Finish: Silky smooth, almost creamy at first with a long, warm satisfying tail.
8 : JACK DANIELS “ SINGLE BARREL” BARREL PROOF TENNESSEE WHISKEY 125-140 Proof $ 64.99
The nose offers maple syrup, a caramel and a little barrel char. On the body, it doesn’t drink like something that is 2/3rds alcohol. In fact, needs no water at all to be approachable. The palate is rich with more of that caramel, butterscotch, a touch of cloves and a lengthy, vanilla-fueled finish. Big, bold body – but it’s not overpowering in the slightest. The char isn’t overly evident which lets the sweetness really shine. Everything told, it’s a fantastic whiskey that stands as arguably one of the best thing to come out of the #1 whiskey distillery in the worlds JD empire.
9 : REDEMPTION RYE 92 proof $ 29.99
Redemption Rye’s goal is to bring back the classic American Rye cocktail. While the Federal law states that a whiskey must be 51% rye grain to be classified as a rye we chose to push our grain content to 95%. This not only pushes the flavor forward, it also magnifies the unique profile of the rye grains. Beautiful flavored rye spice with light oral and citrus notes. Slight mint garnish makes this great for sipping or mixing in a classic cocktail. (Think Manhattan, Old Fashioned and Sazerac). True rye flavor.
10 : WOODFORD RESERVE “SMALL BATCH” RYE 90.4 PROOF $ 39.99
Rich honey appearance. Spicy nose with distinct notes of rye, black pepper, cedar and cassia bark sweetened with dusting of marzipan. Hints of pear, apple and almond dance in its depths. Tastes of clove, rye, mint, molasses, sorghum and honey mingle together with hints of apple and malt. The finish is long and sweetly spiced. An exceptional example of Kentucky Straight Rye whiskey.
11 : JEFFERSON RESERVE “GROTH CASK FINISH” 90.2 Proof $84.99 Jefferson’s reserve is named after Thomas Jefferson known for his curiosity and experimental spirit. The brainchild of founder Trey Zoeller who when he isn’t drinking bourbon is partial to Napa Cabernets. So when he talked the Groth Winery (The first winery from California to receive a 100 pts score from Robert Parker) out of a few French oak casks from there esteemed Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. He filled the Barrels with fully matured Jefferson Reserve Kentucky straight Bourbon. He then put the Barrels in a “hot box” (a steel container that reaches 120+ degrees in the summer) to sweat the wine out of the wood. Over the ensuing months, the Bourbon took on the unique characteristic of the Groth Barrels which married together in a supremely balanced spirit today. Our Groth Cask Finish explodes with luscious dark berry flavors, such as black cherry and blackberry, evident from the red hue that the bourbon has adopted.
